Army
update, the final update. Posted 4/7/2002
This is the last extensive ANN review on my and my
friends future army service.
These are the final and most complete details we managed
to retrieve:
Arik:
I still do not know where I am going.
I will join the army on August the 8.
I have sevral options but nothing is certain yet and
only after I'll join the army I'll know where I will serve in the
future.
I might serve in the follwing units: Mada"n,
Mada"s, Radar operator, Field-Intelligence units and / or Intelligence
support units.
Of-course something else also might come up, but it's
for the army to deside.
Eyal and Ofer:
Eyal (Franky) and Ofer (Shoostak) will join the IDF
Navy units.
They might serve on Satili"m (heavy missle cruisiers)
or Daburim and Dvorot (light patrol vessels).
They will both join the army on September the 2.
Guy (Fruchtman):
Fruchtman is due to join the army sometime in mid-August.
And why I do not give a specific date?
That's because his date might still move (he might
go to Mamra"m or Kzuna and the date might change)
The options open for Fruchtman: Katzin (officer) of
Tahzuka (maintenance and support units) or Mamra"m (computers).
Nadav:
Nadav is due to join the army on August the 11.
He might join the Tothanim units (artillery) although
it's not yet 100% certain.
He will know for sure where he is going only on the
day of his Giyus.
Lina:
Lina is going to be a medical officer.
She will join the army on July the 27.
Shuli:
Shuli will join the army on July the 24.
Dor:
Dor will join the army sometime in August.
He will join the fighting forces (Kravi)
Chen (Hanan):
Chen will join the army sometime in Winter (2002-2003).
He still does not know where he will serve.
Zohar:
Zohar will join the army sometime in Winter (2002-2003).
He still does not know where he will serve.
Amir, Itamar, Samech, Elad:
They will join the army in the spring of 2003.
They still don't know where they will serve.
